STRANDZ
The Client
Strandz is an emerging artist operating at the intersection of UK rap and contemporary RnB. His visual world leans heavily on mood, personality and controlled intensity. We developed a digital concept that explored how his identity could be translated into a structured, long-term platform. The work served as an internal pitch to demonstrate how a modern artist site can function as more than a promotional landing page.
The Challenge
Artist websites often fall behind the pace of an artist’s growth. They rely on outdated templates, lack hierarchy and fail to communicate the narrative behind the music. For Strandz the challenge was to create an environment that supported the essentials of an artist platform while still carrying the weight and tone of his visual style. The site needed to present discography, biography and tour information in a way that felt considered rather than mechanical.
Our Approach
We built the concept around a restrained visual system that mirrors the artist’s photographic tone. The interface allows the music and imagery to take the lead, supported by a structure that remains simple to follow. Each section was designed with a specific intention. The discography page focuses on clarity and listening pathways. The biography page introduces context through stillness and space. The tour page presents dates with the same seriousness as a campaign asset. The design avoids unnecessary decoration. It relies on typography, contrast and controlled motion to create a sense of presence without overshadowing the work itself.
